Part 1是考官跟你闲唠家常，问一些关于你的兴趣爱好、日常习惯等的问题。这些问题没有标准答案，也没有所谓的“套路”。如果考生能够用流利的英语跟考官交流，并且适当加入一些自己的思考进去，一般都能够得到不错的分数。 但是需要注意的一点就是，这些话题虽然看起来是比较个人的问题，但是如果考生能够在回答这类问题时让考官感到舒服的话（比如回答问题思路清晰、有理有据），那么很容易给考官留下不错的印象，进而获得满意的分数。 所以同学们也不要忽视这种看似“普通”的话题，也许你的回答能帮你提分！
举个例子： Do you like animals？ 为什么要提问这个问题？ 在雅思考试中，因为中国学生长期以来的英语学习环境导致其对英语的运用能力比较差，尤其是词汇量的积累不够。在考试时经常出现表达词穷、卡壳的情况。而动物类的词汇相对而言比较简单且实用性高，所以在回答此类问题的时候可以适当使用简单的短语去进行回答。
例子： Yes， I do. I am a big fan of dogs， and my favorite dog is Xiao Hai. He is so cute that he always makes me smile. In fact， we have the same birthday， December 25th. You are right； it’s an unusual date to celebrate. How about your birthday？ 喜欢宠物的小伙伴们可千万不要错过哦~这个回答使用了过渡句（In fact）和简单句（You are right...），语言简洁明了但又恰到好处。
