中国到美国的签证费是多少?
F1学生签证 费用是160美元 2014年5月8日刚改了价目表,现在是160USD。 填完在线申请表格后去北京上海广州或成都的使馆面试。
J1 visitor visa 费用也是160美元 J-1 is an educational and cultural exchange visa, not a tourist or business one. So you can’t just walk into the consulate and get it any time like B1/B2 visitors do, which makes life really easy for people who have no intention of ever living here afterwards but want to travel on vacation anyway. It also doesn’t work like EB-5 visas (to get green card), where they give priority to big spenders…
Basically these visas are for scholars invited by US Universities, research institutions etc or for workers recruited through some kind of exchange program with American companies. There may be other categories as well I’m missing. Anyway all that means there will probably be a long waiting period before getting interviewed at USCIS offices in India; probably about two years because they aren’t doing much interviews in this country right now. If your university has connections with USCIS(not uncommon)they might even let them fast track your application instead of forcing you to wait until next available interview appointment. They don't need to pay $160 fee though. You paid that yourself when applying online from their account, so why would USCIS refund fees for those students if universities were allowed to waive the requirement?!
M1 student visa M1s must apply directly from their schools after being notified that they got enrolled, unlike F1 students whose applications go direct to the embassy without school involvement. The fees are still only $160 per person. And once again schools won’t be paying anything for anyone else’s application fees!
A3 transit visa This type of visa was previously free, but then suddenly started charging $160 in January 2014; same with other types of U.S. visas. No idea why, since transits never cost money anywhere else before recently. Maybe someone knows. For information purposes however they say A3 stays valid for five years and allows multiple entries within that span, just like the old days! => http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Visas%20and%20Ad
